The problem of moral issue of The Christian Council of Korea's power of money on the election.

The Christian Council held The 7th Christian Speech Forum on 24th with a topic, The Christian Council's now and a countermeasure - The concern for Korean church's future.

The election for the chief of The Christian Council has cause big issue about using the power of money. Even The General Assembly of Presbyterian Church in Korea, a member of organization, has instituted a suit about 'Minister Um's invalidity of election'

Minister Gang Chun-Oh, starts to give a religious service says, "The issue of illegal Chief election is still a lame excuse with The Christian Council of Korea as an united organization."

Also he pointed out about The Christian Council of Korea that it has many private orders which can not be seen as appropriate one. Especially, there are many of religious schools that gives diploma without proper lectures and educational management but just spending one or two semesters in some places.

Minister Cho Hyo-Geun(publisher of Deulsori newspaper) criticizes that The Christian Council of Korea is heading opposit way of morality or spirituality of Korean churches. "The fact that ministers say that they will donate 3 or 10 hundred million won just before the election is the most ugly happening in the 100 years history of Korean church." he says "Money play should be disappeared."

An abuse of religious authority has been issued also. Minister Gang says "The identity between Religious Research Committee and Heresy Countermeasure Committee is not clear." and "Heresy Countermeasure Committee thinks they are some kind of prosecution of Christian in Korea." For example, someone who has been a chief of Heresy Countermeasure Committee in The Christian Council of Korea stated in a formal situation without any hesitation that the chief of Heresy Countermeasure Committee in The Christian Council of Korea is a prosecution.

Minister Gang says "They sometimes take ministers who they consider as heresy to some privacy place and do interrogation. And it's an abuse of religious power."

About The Christian Council of Korea's money play, minister Gang says "It is possible by using 5 to 10 hundred million won per person normally and can be elected when use more that 10 hundred million won." and "It is a clear corrupt election." Also he pointed out that there are many departments of 10 specialized committees and 21 standing committees under 2 administrations that do nothing but gathered two or three times in an year and have light meetings.

Scolding of using money power has been continued. Minister Park Bong-Gue(The second leader of the Commission on Human Rights in The Christian Council of Korea) says “An election administration commission has been neglecting their duties while the money power and local power is growing up.”

One hand, Korean Christian Press Committee says that "We announced that give an apology about progressing the event without any discussion and cancel the event if don't changed the topic of forum." before the forum begins.

About this, Korean Christian Press Committee had made their position clear by saying "We let the The Christian Council of Korea know by documents." and "Making the event cancel is a controling of press and it's like giving up healthy Korean churches."

"Though The Christian Council of Korea's revolution committee started, how can they even send such a documents." Minister Gang Chun-Oh disagreed.

Minister Gang Jo-Han and Sim Chang-Sub(Chongshin University Graduated School) who emphasis The Christian Council of Korea not to fall as just political group warned "Shouldn't be understanded as old-fashioned group which can be seens as conservatism." and "Christians will turn their back if give an impression such as not consider about the business but only giving a vote or getting properties."

There were suggestion that Moral Committee should be founded to recover morality. Minister Park Bong-Gue insisted that the problems between Society and Korean churches(a unified standard of ordain a priest, financial absurd, fake diploma about religion, real-name system for churches and priests) should be solved powerfully. Minister Park also said "The problems that The Christian Council of Korea is facing are more for moral development than political one.
