Shinchonji - Salvation is for sinners
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Salvation is for sinners
Salvation is for sinners, not for the righteous. The expression!, "salvation for the righteous," is incorrect.
People who call Shinchonji Church of Jesus (SCJ) a cult are speaking nonsense just like John Calvin. It is so disconcerting when they use the expression!, "salvation for the righteous." They sound as arrogant as the devil. Jesus said, "Those who are healthy don't need a physician, but those who are sick do. Go and learn what this saying means: ‘I want mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners," (Mt 9:12-13).
A member of SCJ who betrayed us and left has joined hands with another person who claims that salvation is for the righteous. This person who left SCJ now introduces himself to others claiming that he was second-in-command before leaving SCJ. His actions, however, reveal him to be the lowest of the low from a biblical perspective. The devil himself, who is a fallen angel, was cast out of heaven for the sin of exalting himself out of arrogance (Is 14:12-15). The truth is that everyone is a sinner because everyone was born with original and hereditary sins (Rom 3:10). Sinners must receive forgiveness for their sins through the righteous blood of Jesus (Mt 26:26-29; Rom 6:6-11). Just as Jesus said, it is only by faith in this fact that people can attain salvation.
According to Calvin's doctrine of predestination, people are predetermined to be saved or not even before they are born. This teaching, however, is incorrect. Jesus said that everyone who hates his fellow Christian is a murderer (1 Jn 3:15). Calvin was instrumental in the killing of many people who refused to believe his teachings (i.e. the doctrine of predestination). This division on the basis of doctrine is why so many churches exist today (e.g. the church of Jesus, the church of Calvin, etc.). If a Trinitarian is appointed as a cult discriminator, others can only avoid being called heretics by also professing Trinitarian doctrines. Those who refuse to believe Trinitarian doctrines themselves, but still claim to follow a Trinitarian as their true pastor must also be heretics.
Saying that salvation is for the righteous is the same as when the devil called himself God (Ez 28; 2 Thes 2). Those who have not mastered the Bible and have not received God’s revelation are recklessly spewing nonsense. They work only to trick others into also believing their lies.
Shinchonji is preaching the theology of the revelation according to the 5Ws and 1H. Even though a new generation has already begun, the unenlightened people of this world are still fast asleep. How can they understand that a new generation has arrived?

Shinchonji - Deception, sin, and righteousness
The correct understanding of the Bible and of Shinchonji - The New Heaven and New Earth
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Deception, sin, and righteousness
Jesus said that many people will come in his name to deceive others (Mt 24:5). They will not hesitate to persecute and even kill people who disagree with them (Jn 16:2-4). Who acts in this way?
The Old Testament describes many wars between the chosen people and various gentile nations. Since the time of the New Testament, however, the wars have been about religious persecution and ecclesiastical authority. The chosen people have become gentiles because they betrayed God and persecuted God's chosen pastor and God’s true saints. This is prophesied in the New Testament.
Let's compare the Church of Jesus and Calvinist churches. Jesus taught us to love even our enemies (Mt 5:44), but John Calvin forced many people to convert because they did not believe in his doctrine of pre-destination. He persecuted people who refused to convert as heretics, violently tortured, excommunicated, and even killed them. Even today people who belong to the Church of Jesus and people who belong to Calvinist churches have very different doctrines. According to the Bible, all who receive Jesus and all who believe in his name receive the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God (Jn 1:12-13). Calvin only acknowledged those who believe in his doctrine of pre-destination. He considered those who refused to acknowledge his doctrines to be heretics.
Jesus said that those who add anything to or take anything away from the book of Revelation cannot go to the kingdom of heaven. Instead, they will receive all the plagues described in Revelation (Rv 22:18-19). Calvin did not acknowledge Revelation. The root, trunk, branches, leaves, and fruits are all part of one tree (Dn 4:20; Jn 15:1-2; Rv 22:1-2). In other words, they belong to the same organization and are cut from the same cloth. The roots of the Church of Jesus are God and Jesus. The root of Calvinism is Calvin. Since the Presbyterian church grew out of Calvinism, the root of the Presbyterian church is Calvin. Anyone who calls Presbyterianism orthodoxy is calling Calvinism orthodoxy. In God’s eyes, however, Calvinism is not orthodox; it is heresy. Anyone can decide to establish a denomination, but their denomination will be heretical if its doctrines do not align with the teachings of Jesus included in the Bible.
Biblical commentaries
Many pastors write theses about the prophecies of the Bible, including Revelation, to receive doctoral degrees. They also use their degrees to exert influence and pretend as if they are experts. The Bible says, however, that God reveals his prophecies to one person at an appointed time (Hb 2:2-3; Jn 16:25) and fulfills them. The secrets of God's kingdom cannot be revealed through discussion, and they are not subject to anyone's personal opinion. That is lawlessness before God. One scripture is interpreted in countless ways depending on who is doing the interpreting. Whose commentaries should believers trust? Although there is only one Bible, differences in biblical interpretations have splintered Christianity. How can we tell which denomination has the truth?
Believers should not believe in the commentaries of men over the revelation from the pastor promised in the New Testament (Rv 10). When you receive the teachings of men, you are receiving the weeds—the seeds of the devil that will transform you into the children of the devil who persecute others.
Why do people persecute others?
Who persecutes others? Who are persecuted? False pastors give false testimonies about the prophecies by interpreting them on their own. Jesus promised another counselor, the spirit of the truth, who would be with the promised pastor. Together they testify about the true identity of the false pastors. These false pastors despise the promised pastor because he reveals their teachings to be lies. They then proceed to persecute him and his followers by labeling them a cult. They attempt to cover their own shortcomings by preventing their own congregation members from going to hear the promised pastor. The last thing they want is for their congregation members to hear his testimony and believe it. The events of the first coming unfolded in a similar way. After all, Jesus promised that the second coming would be no different. People who claim to be servants of God hate the one sent by God. Instead of receiving him with joy, they gather to create a strategy for killing him. This is how things happened in the first coming and the way things happen in the second coming (Mt 27; Rv 11).
They hate and persecute without reason (Jn 15:25) because they are false pastors. True believers must understand this and discern the true pastor from these false pastors. People who see and hear these sorts of events taking place, yet fail to understand and discern the truth—people who blindly accept the testimonies of these unrighteous pastors—simply prove that they have been born of unrighteous seed.
Sin and righteousness
What is sin? What is righteousness? Sin is not believing in Jesus. Righteousness is believing in the words of promise (Jn 16:8-11)
Jesus said no one righteous, not even one (Rom 3:10). He also asked whether he would find faith on the earth when he returns (Lk 18:8). Obviously, he did not consider anyone to be righteous. Jesus also said, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners,” (Mt 9:12-13). The righteous are people who have already been saved. The righteous do not need salvation. Granting salvation to the righteous does not make sense and is not according to the Bible or to God's will. Anyone who says such a thing is ignorant of the Bible and speaks the words of his own heart. He is arrogant and a true heretic. Jesus prohibited persecution, measuring, criticizing, and cursing, yet people are doing these very things (Mt 7:1-5; Jn 8:44). They act this way because it is according to their doctrines; it is orthodox to them. We have to think deeply about who it is to whom they belong. Their actions are truly heretical and unlawful according to the Bible.
Conversion
The word conversion should be used when a person decides to change his or her religion.
There is a group of pastors in Korea calling themselves “conversion pastors.” They claim to be Christians, but the targets for their conversion education programs are also Christians. How can Christians change their religion to Christianity? This is not conversion. If they insist on calling it conversion, are they calling themselves non-Christians? They are Christians, but their actions prove they are truly Calvinist Christians. The constitution of the Republic of Korea guarantees the freedom of religion. Since these conversion pastors are forcing people to accept their beliefs, they are breaking the law.
The word conversion is frequently used by ignorant heretics, who are controlled by the devil. The Bible says that Israel's watchmen (i.e. pastors) are blind and that they all lack knowledge (Is 56:9-12). Pastors who betray the word are figuratively called dogs and pigs (2 Pt 2:20-22). Jesus told us not to give dogs what is sacred and not to throw our pearls to pigs (Mt 7:6). People who are deceived into obeying these ignorant, blind pastors become servants of dogs. The Bible says that the dogs (and by extension their servants) will not be allowed to enter the holy city of the kingdom of heaven. It says that the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars (e.g. those who claim that salvation is for the righteous) are all outside of the holy city (Rv 21:8; Rv 22:15). Although now they can say anything they want, they will be speechless at the time of judgment and will be cast into the lake of fire in the last days.
Today is like the time of Noah (Mt 24:37-39). Thus, I pray for those who refuse to believe with sincere hearts.

Shinchonji -Qualifications of believers of Shinchonji Church of Jesus
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Qualifications of believers of Shinchonji Church of Jesus
The Bible shows us that people in every generation persecuted and killed those sent by God—the prophets in the Old Testament as well as Jesus and his apostles at the time of the first coming—instead of accepting their testimonies (Mt 23:34-35; Acts 7:51-60). Why did they refuse to receive those sent by God and why did they kill them? God comes to and works through the one person God chooses and sends. The chief priests and elders at the time of the first coming were eagerly awaiting God’s arrival. When God did come, however, they gathered the Sanhedrin and discussed how they would put the pastor sent by God to death (Mt 26; Mt 27; Mk 15).
If these were the actions of the priests and elders of every generation who were charged with leading God’s people, to whom do you think they actually belonged?
The book of Revelation prophesies the events of the Lord’s second coming. Revelation testifies that all nations are deceived and marry the devil. They feast on Satan’s food and do business with Satan’s goods (Rv 18). Since these words of Revelation are God’s and Jesus’ words, what must Christians do? Should we believe them or deny them?
The world today is formless and void; the darkness hovers over the face of the deep. The truth is nowhere to be found. People’s hearts have grown dark (1 Thes 5:1-6). The truth is denied, and lies reign as king. People who speak the truth are persecuted and ostracized. In fact, people who speak the truth fear for their lives. People who speak the truth are lonely and they cry out to the Lord to save them.
Among Buddhists, Confucianists, and Christians, Christians are the most wicked and speak the most lies. Why? Today, which is the end of the age, all the demons in the world have gathered in Christianity according to the prophecies of the Bible. Out of all the world’s nations, the most demons seem to have entered Korean Christianity. Why? It is because God and his word have left the west and come to the east—to South Korea.
Recently, a particular group of Christians stirred up the Christian world by proclaiming that they would be raptured on a specific date. Their prophecy was proven false, however, after the appointed date passed. Furthermore, the media has been full of rumors lately that the world will come to an end in the year 2012. Why do people refuse to believe God’s prophecies and promises, and turn instead to the lies of such so-called Christian fortune tellers (Rv 21:8; Rv 22:15)? In fact, people’s false gods are driving them to believe the words of Christian fortune tellers.
If you truly want to believe in God and the truth, you must look to the Bible and humble yourself before God. Some people in this world were born to lie, to persecute, and to act as fortune tellers. Although they do so unknowingly, they are acting in fulfillment of the prophecies of the Bible.
When Jesus’ disciples asked Jesus about the signs of the second coming and of the end of the age at the time of the first coming, Jesus said, “Watch out that no one misleads you … For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect,” (Mt 24). Believers facing the end of the age must be mindful of Jesus’ words and believe in Jesus’ promises.

Shinchonji - Regarding church names, people’s names, and place names
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Regarding church names, people’s names, and place names
The names of churches, people, and places in the New Testament prophecies are either figurative or literal. The names of people and places in the prophecies often make figurative reference to the Old Testament. Church names come either from God or from men. There are two kinds of temples: spiritual and physical. A spiritual temple is the temple of a person’s heart (Eph 2:20-22; 1 Cor 3:16), and a physical temple is a physical building where people, who are themselves spiritual temples, gather to worship. At the time of the fulfillment, God chooses a pastor after his own heart and uses him to build a temple according to the pattern in heaven (Ex 25:1-9; Rv 4). In contrast, pastors appointed by men use their own words to build spiritual temples in the hearts of their congregation members and physical temples in the world where their congregation members gather to worship.
In which of these two kinds of temples is God going to reside?
Some of the pastors and temples mentioned in the 66 books of the Bible from the time of Adam to the time of the second coming were promised by God and some were created by men. God's word comes from God’s promised temple (Rv 14:1-3) because God dwells there (Rv 15; Rv 21:1-3). Who resides in the temples created by men? If there is a spirit in these temples, it is certainly not God. The temple of Jerusalem, came to an end after Abraham’s Physical Israel betrayed God and killed Jesus (Mt 24:1-2). Who built the temples (churches) that have been constructed since then? What spirits reside in them?
The New Testament prophesies that New Jerusalem will be established on earth as it is in heaven (Rv 21). This temple is not the temple of Jerusalem from the time of Physical Israel. Since the time of Jesus 2,000 years ago, most of the churches that have been established have been built according to the will of men. Their pastors, too, have been appointed by people. The New Testament promises one pastor and one temple. There is only one chosen pastor and only one chosen temple where all nations must come to worship (Rv 10; Rv 15:2-5). Since Jesus was the true light (Jn 1:9), darkness came to the earth when Jesus left (Jn 9:4-5). The world is again filled with light when the light of life, which is the word (Rv 21:23-26; Jn 1:1-5; 1 Jn 1:1-7), returns.
Since the scriptures say that those who are born of the flesh persecute those born of the Spirit (Gal 4:29, KJV), we know that churches built according to the will of men will persecute the temple built according to the promise of God. Since Shinchonji means “new heaven and new earth,” Shinchonji Church of Jesus has been established according to the Bible (Rv 21). The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony is also promised in the Bible (Rv 15:5). The pastor who received the revelation from heaven in Rv 10 is the one who overcomes and the promised pastor God has chosen. Those who persecute the promised temple and the promised pastor do not belong to God (1 Jn 4:4-6). Only those who affirm the truth of the word and its fulfillment correctly can follow the word and attain salvation.
We who have overcame, the 12 tribes of Shinchonji Church of Jesus—Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony—pray that all the world’s believers will understand the only true God, his promised pastor, and promised temple.

Shinchonji - The appointed tasks of pastors at the end of the age
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
The appointed tasks of pastors at the end of the age
The end of the age refers to the end of Christianity. It is also the time of the Lord’s second coming. The signs of the end of the age and of the second coming include the betrayal of God’s chosen people, the destruction of the chosen people by gentiles, and salvation (2 Thes 2:1-3). These signs take place in this order. This is when the roles played by churches and their pastors, the authority of the elders, and the prophecies come to an end. The world of the first (or former) heaven comes to an end, and the world of the second heaven begins (Is 65:17-18; Mt 24:29-31). This newly created world (i.e. the world of the second heaven) is the world of the twelve tribes. The twelve tribes are made up of people born of God’s seed and sealed by the word (Rv 21:1-3; Jas 1:18; Rv 7:1-4). In other words, they are people who have mastered the Bible. The churches of the previous world (the world of the first heaven) come to an end when the time of harvest begins (Mt 13:38-40), as do the appointed tasks of their pastors. Since these pastors were appointed to preach the prophecies, they also come to an end when the era of the physical fulfillment has come. At the time of the fulfillment, the physical fulfillment of the prophecies appears and is proclaimed—the words of the prophecies are made flesh.
As churches and their pastors disappear, the appointed tasks of the elders, who have excelled in amassing ecclesiastical authority, also come to an end. Again, the end of the age is the time when the churches, pastors, elders, and prophecies all come to an end. Biblically speaking, as this new era begins, pastors of the previous generation who continue to serve as pastors are practicing lawlessness. Their actions are not fit for the new era.
Pastors who understand the reality of the present (Mt 16:3; Lk 12:56) will joyfully entrust their sheep to the pastors of the new generation. In doing so, they will save themselves and their sheep. Today, people are born again of God’s seed to resemble God’s image and likeness (Lk 8:11; Jn 3:5; Jas 1:18; 1 Pt 1:23). God’s kingdom (heaven) is being created on earth today as his people are fruitful, increase in number, and are sealed with the word. The kingdom and priests of the new heaven have mastered the path (i.e. the word) through Jesus’ blood (Rv 5:9-10). A great multitude dressed in white are chosen as the new people of heaven. Their sins are washed away by the blood of Christ Jesus (Rv 7:9-14). Even people without the word and who have not yet mastered the path (i.e. the word) can become priests of the new heaven as long as they are sealed by Jesus’ blood. The great multitude dressed in white also become the people of heaven as their sins are washed away.
The first heaven came to an end because neither its pastors nor its congregation members had the word. In fact, since they did not have the word, these pastors have ruled their people using only ecclesiastical authority. A pastor is not acknowledged by God just by being ordained to rule over a church. Only people who do the will of the father in heaven and who are born again of the seed of the word—those who master the word—are acknowledged by God as true pastors. Furthermore, people do not become the people of heaven just by claiming to believe and be the children of God. Only those who do the will of the father in heaven—those who are born again of the seed of the word—can become the children of heaven and attain salvation.
To acquire salvation at the end of the age, believers must believe and follow the words of the harvesters rather than the words of their own pastors (Mt 13). In the age of the new heaven, there is no regard to positions of authority; pastors, elders, and congregation members alike must be born again to be acknowledged by God. The new pastors and people of heaven are those who are sealed and born again of God’s seed (Rv 7).

Shinchonji - The fruit of persecution
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
The fruit of persecution
People who are persecuted will be rewarded in heaven, but their persecutors will be eternally punished in the fiery furnace of hell. The words of the Bible act as a testimony that determines who is rewarded and who is punished (Mt 5:10-12; Acts 7:51-53; Jn 15:18-23).
After Adam sinned (Gn 3), God left the world of humans (Gn 6:3), and Satan took control (Lk 4:5-7; Rv 18:2-3, 23). Under the management of Satan, the “pastors” of the world despised, persecuted, and killed every person God sent (Mt 23:34-35). These murderers of God’s messengers were the pastors of the day who claimed to believe in God the most (Mt 26-27). The Bible says that the end of the world will also be like this (Rv 13, 18). The promise God made to Abraham was fulfilled (Mt 15; Ex 12). The promises of the Old Testament have also been fulfilled (Lk 24:44; Jn 19:30). Today, the promises of the New Testament are being fulfilled (Jn 14:29). These promises were briefly mentioned in the four gospels, but after Jesus’ ascension, God spoke fully about the coming of perfection in Revelation. He also forbid anyone to add or subtract anything from his message (Rv 22:18-19).
Will the New testament Jesus promised be fulfilled? Will we understand and believe in the fulfillment when it comes? Won’t there be persecution? If there is persecution, who will be doing the persecuting? Will it be believers or non-believers? Which religion will lead the persecution? If things follow the pattern of previous generations, it will be Christianity that persecutes the truth. Who, then, among Christians, will persecute others?
In the time of the first coming, the religious leaders (pastors) persecuted God without even realizing it because they persecuted Jesus, to whom God had come and with whom God had united—they persecuted God because they did not know him. Jesus asked if he would be able to find people with faith at the time of his second coming (Lk 18:8). Jesus is returning in spirit to unite with the one who comes in Jesus’ name (Rv 1:7; Jn 14:26; Rv 3:12, 21). Will today’s pastors recognize the pastor who comes in Jesus’ name? Will they follow him or persecute him? In fact, he has already come, and the pastors of the world are already persecuting him.
What will the outcome of all this be? Believers who understand the meaning of Revelation 17 know that their own pastors are their actual enemies. Those who desire a true life of faith should go to the place that is being persecuted and confirm! for themselves with the Bible who is acting according to the path of truth. Worldly churches are easy to enter. You can become a favored member of just by attending well, volunteering, and giving plenty of offerings. Shinchonji Church of Jesus, however, is different. Believers who love God’s word and seek the truth are attend a course of study that includes basic, introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels over the course of 8 months. Prospective members must pass a test on their knowledge of the Bible after each level in order to progress. After the course is completed, they must also pass a final test with a 90% or better to graduate. People who fail this graduation test must receive the training again.
Graduates of our Bible training program are recommended to return to their old churches to teach the congregation members their new-found knowledge of the Bible. Under certain circumstances, however, some people are allowed to attend Shinchonji churches after they receive a month-long new member’s training course. Once a new congregation member joins, he or she enters a department that belongs to a branch church under one of the twelve tribes. Then he or she can eventually be registered in the church by steadily living a proper life of faith. After these church members are sealed with the word, they receive certificates and are registered with the Shinchonji headquarters. Thus, it is only by diligently following this prescribed course that a person can master the Bible, be sealed with the word, and ultimately be registered with the Shinchonji headquarters.
These people who have been registered are the proper family of Shinchonji. No one else is allowed to attend Shinchonji Church of Jesus because Shinchonji is the holy place where God dwells. This is the major difference between Shinchonji and the churches of the world. If we were to count the total number of people that have been networked to Shinchonji, we would have more believers than any other single religious group on earth.
This world is full of lying religious professors and false pastors who buy their ministerial licenses with money. Those who managed to graduate from a theological seminary still do not understand the true meaning of the Bible, yet they continue to act as pastors. Comparing the level of biblical understanding of a sealed member of Shinchonji with one of these worldly pastors is like comparing heaven and earth. All the false theologians and false pastors should repent and resign their positions. Shouldn’t all pastors be acknowledged only after passing a test to demonstrate their understanding of the Bible? It is only then that they should be allowed to stand in the pulpit and lead a group of believers. If all Christian churches worked this way, they would be acknowledged by God and by the the world. They would receive God’s blessings.
Those who have acknowledged our teachings will come to Shinchonji Church of Jesus to learn.

Shinchonji - The end of the age and a religious life of faith
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
The end of the age and a religious life of faith
The end of the age mentioned in the Bible does not refer to the end of the universe, the end of the earth, or even the end of humanity. It does, however, refer to the end of a generation of believers. There are even Buddhist and Confucian prophecies that point to the place of salvation being the cross of Christ. The Bible, too, points to the cross as both the place of salvation and the place where the work of overcoming is accomplished. Thus, all religious people—even Buddhists and Confucianists—must come to the cross of Christ, just as their teachers foretold. Amongst all Christian churches there is one place where the one who overcomes can be found. It is in finding this place that people can find, understand, and walk the truth path to salvation (Rv 12:5; Rv 12:10-11).
Most people—Buddhists, Confucianists, Christians, etc.—have closed their hearts to God's prophecies; they never even think about them. People are so immersed in their own thoughts that the scriptures have lost all meaning to them. Unfortunately, this is reality. No wonder the people of the world cannot understand our current situation.
God loves the people of the world so much that he gave up his one and only son to save us (Jn 3:16). Jesus, the son, laid down his life for sinners according to the will of the Father (Mt 26:28; Rom 6:6-11). After receiving this great love, we, too, must share the love of the Father and the love of Christ with others (Lk 10:27; Jn 13:34). If the teachings of Confucius or Siddhartha were capable of leading people to salvation, there would have been no reason for God to allow Jesus—the son who was without sin—to be crucified. Apparently, Confucius and Siddhartha did understand that salvation would come through God and the path of Jesus' cross because they proclaimed it future generations through their own scriptures. This means neither Confucius nor Siddhartha could atone for the sins of humanity or grant anyone salvation.
The end of the age refers to the end of a particular religious world. It means that religious people will no longer carry out their spiritual lives in the same way. It means that the lives of faith we carry out now will come to an end when the prophecies are completely fulfilled (Rv 21:6; Rv 22:13).
The origin of Jesus is different from the origin of Confucius and Siddhartha. Confucius and Siddhartha were both born with original and hereditary sins; they were sinners. Jesus, however, was a righteous person without sin (1 Pt 3:18; 1 Jn 3:5) because he was born of the seed of God (Mt 1:18-23). Both Confucius and Siddhartha were princes of noble birth, but Jesus was a prince of heaven. This is why the origin of Jesus was different; he was a person who was united with God (Jn 10:30).
It is easy for believers to say, "We will go to heaven and attain salvation." Just mentioning heaven and salvation, however, does not guarantee that we will attain them. How can a person born of the seed of man become a son of God? Can a mere human being call God "Father" and go to heaven without being born again? We must be redeemed from our sins through Jesus' blood (Mt 26:28; Rom 6:6-11) and be born again of God's seed just as Jesus was (Jn 3:5-6; Jas 1:18; 1 Pt 1:23). It is only in doing so that we can call God "Father" and be qualified to go to heaven, the Father’s kingdom.
About 2,000 years ago, of all the people in the world, it was the Israelites, the descendants of Abraham, who were God's only chosen people. They were the only people who believed in and served God. They also believed that God would return to them according to the Old Testament prophecies. They prayed to God by touching their foreheads to the ground three times a day. In fulfillment of their hope, God did finally come to the Israelites. When he came, did they believe in him by believing in his son Jesus? The elders and priests gathered the Sanhedrin and conspired to kill Jesus, in whom God was dwelling (Mt 26-27). Ultimately, they succeeded in crucifying Jesus. How is it that God’s one and only chosen people, who were longing to see their savior, killed Jesus (God) instead of accepting him? We must think about this before boasting about our own righteousness as believers. God, who had united with Jesus, said, "You people [the Israelites] are from your father the devil," (Jn 8:44).
The god the Israelites were serving and bowing down to three times a day was actually the devil. The Bible distinguishes the one true God from false gods (Jn 15:1; Jn 17:3). The Physical Israelites served a false god as the true God. That false god, in fact, was the devil pretending to be the true God. The Physical Israelites were born of the physical bloodline of Abraham, but their spirits were born of the seed of the devil. This is why Jesus told them their father was the devil—they had become children of the devil. They were in error and bowed down to the devil thinking he was God
The Physical Israelites worshiped gentile gods during the reign of King Solomon, and as a result they were cursed. The eleven northern tribes eventually came to be known as gentile Samaria. Only one tribe—Judah—remained in Jerusalem (1 Kgs 11-12). That one last tribe, however, was also devoured by gentiles according to the prophecies of Is 1. All of Physical Israel worshiped gentile gods sometimes even thinking they were worshiping the true God. Since the whole world had been conquered by Satan and its people were living in darkness (Mt 4), John the Baptist—who was supposed to prepare the way—declared, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near … You offspring of vipers (the devil)!" (Mt 3:1-7). Even Jesus himself proclaimed, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!" (Mt 4:17).
In Jn 4:20-24, Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem … But a time is coming—and now is here—when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such people to be his worshipers." Why did Jesus tell the woman not to worship on either the mountain in Samaria or in Jerusalem? At that time, both Samaria and Jerusalem had become possessions of Satan.
At the time of the second coming—the time of Revelation’s fulfillment and of the end of the religious world—just like at the time of the first coming, all nations have become possessions of of Satan. Revelation 17 and 18 explain how the chosen people (i.e. Spiritual Israel) have been intoxicated with Satan's wine—the wine of adulteries. They have committed adultery with Satan and have collapsed because of his maddening wine of adulteries. The people of all nations have bought and sold the doctrines of Satan. Since all nations have married the devil, isn’t it obvious that the religious world has come to an end?
Physical Israel faced its end at the time of the first coming. Similarly, Spiritual Israel comes to an end at the time of the second coming. In other words, the world of Jesus' first heaven is brought to an end. Then, the world of the new heaven and new earth (Shinchonji) begins. The book of Revelation explains how the first heaven comes to an end. It explains how it is only after the world of the first heaven disappears that the world of the new heaven can exist. In short, God gave us the Bible so we can understand and believe that a promised pastor comes and creates the world of the new heaven after the previous generation is destroyed because of its sins.
Shinchonji Church of Jesus has mastered the Bible by receiving the revelation of heaven. Shinchonji is testifying about the prophecies of the Bible and their physical fulfillment. Shinchonji is the place the highest biblical knowledge and the true faith can be found. People can only attain salvation in Shinchonji because God, Jesus, the holy spirit, and the word can only be found in Shinchonji. Shinchonji is the only place God's kingdom is being created. People who truly believe in the one and only true God and in his words (the Bible) will follow the path of the promises in the word.

Shinchonji - The previous world and the world that is newly created in every generation
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
The previous world and the world that is newly created in every generation
Although God created Adam and his generation, as soon as Adam’s world sinned, God judged them with the flood. God found Noah in the midst of Adam’s corrupt generation and tried to realize his will through Noah’s generation (Gn 6:9-17). When Ham and Canaan, who were Noah’s descendants, sinned (Gn 9:18-27), God made a promise with Abraham and began to fulfill that promise through Moses four generations later (Ex 3, 12). God judged Canaan and his descendants and put Moses in charge over the nation of Israel. God gave Moses the law (Ex 20) so Moses could lead them effectively.
Israel was divided into northern and southern kingdoms (centered around their respective capitals of Samaria and Jerusalem) because they served gentile gods during the reign of King Solomon. Eleven tribes belonged to the northern kingdom and the tribe of Judah to the southern kingdom. In the time of Isaiah, the city of Jerusalem in the southern kingdom of Judah joined its neighbors to the north as a possession of the gentiles (1 Kgs 11-12; Is 1).
It was during this time of destruction that the Old Testament prophets foretold the virgin birth of Jesus through the work of the holy spirit (Is 7:14; Mt 1:18-21). From the time of Jesus’ birth, the laws, the prophets, and the prophecies of the Old Testament came to an end (Mt 11:13; Lk 16:16); the era of life by faith began (Gal 3:23-29). The nation of Physical Israel came to an end, and Jesus founded Spiritual Israel as a nation built on the foundation of faith (Jn 1:12-13). Adam began in the Garden of Eden, Noah on Mt. Ararat, Moses on Mt. Sinai, Joshua in Shechem, and Jesus in Galilee. Today, the messengers of the seven stars began their work in South Korea on Cheonggae mountain, and the one who overcomes began his work on a small prayer mountain in nearby Indeogwon.
The world of Jesus’ second coming.
In his first coming, Jesus came for sinners (Mt 9:11-13), but his second coming is not concerned with sin; Jesus comes to those who are waiting for him (Heb 9:28). Today, just like what happened at the time of the first coming (Mt 4), the world of religion has become Satan’s world (Rv 18-19). This is the time when tongues, prophecies, and partial testimonies come to an end (1 Cor 13:8-10). Since the things that were promised and the things for which we hoped have appeared, it is time to come together and see the truth face-to-face (1 Cor 13:12). The world of the first heaven (Spiritual Israel), which lasted for over 2,000 years, has come to an end in fulfillment of the prophecies of the New Testament (Rv 6, 13). The time has come for the world of the second heaven to be revealed (Rv 7, 14). The churches of the world belong to the generation of the first heaven, but Shinchonji Church of Jesus belongs to the new heaven promised in the New Testament (Rv 21:1). Today, the time of harvest has come; the pastors and churches of the world have met their end (Mt 13:30, 39-40). Believers need no longer run here and there looking for truth and salvation. The time has come for people to find the true path of the Bible (Mt 7:7-8, 13-14) and meet the angels of heaven angels (Heb 13:2).
We are ringing out the old and ringing out the new. All creation has been eagerly anticipating the era of the new heaven and new earth. When this work is accomplished, people will no longer grow older. Believers must remember the work of every generation, they must find the place that is being persecuted because of its righteousness (Mt 5:10-12; Jn 15:18-19). If you are persecuted with us because of righteous, the hand of salvation will also come upon you.

Shinchonji - The promised pastor and the destination of true believers
The correct understanding of the Bible and of Shinchonji – The New Heaven and New Earth
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Who is the pastor promised in the New Testament? Where is the destination believers must reach?
First, let us learn about the pastor promised in the New Testament. The pastor promised in the New Testament is the one who fights and overcomes Satan’s false pastors who rule the spiritual nation of Babylon (Rv 2, 3, and 12). He is also the one who receives and testifies the word of revelation (Rv 10).
The promised pastor witnesses the fulfillment of the prophecies and testifies about what he sees and hears according to the command of heaven (Rv 1:2; Rv 22:16). All believers need this pastor.
Salvation is possible only after Satan’s pastors are defeated (Rv 12:7-11) and the one who overcomes—the promised pastor—creates the twelve tribes of God’s kingdom (Rv 7, 14). The one who overcomes receives the hidden manna that endures to eternal life, the white stone of judgment, and the iron scepter with which he will rule all nations. He receives Jesus’ new name and the name of the holy city New Jerusalem that comes down from heaven. He also sits down with Jesus on his throne and reigns. People who go to the one who overcomes to receive salvation (Rv 2-3) are going to God, Jesus, and the kingdom of heaven. This is a promise recorded in the New Testament. The one who overcomes is truly the promised pastor.
Where, then, is the destination promised in the New Testament to which all believers must go? All nations must go to the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, where those who are victorious over the group of dragon—the beast with the seven heads and ten horns—have gathered (Rv 15:2-5). At the end of the Christian world, believers must leave their pastors and churches and be harvested to the place appointed for salvation (Mt 13:30; Rv 14:1-5).
How can the congregation members of pastors who do not know the promised words of the Bible understand the Bible themselves? How can they know the places and pastor promised in the Bible? The Bible says that people who do not know and understand are destroyed (Hos 4:6; 2 Pt 3:16; Jude 1:10). Believers in the end times must first understand the meaning of the Bible (Hos 6:6; Eph 3:18-19). People should decide whether or not to believe only after learning the true meaning of the Bible. God’s will and promises (prophecies) recorded in the Bible will be surely be fulfilled. When people close their hearts and minds—when they refuse to study— the Bible becomes useless to them.
Today, the members of Shinchonji Church of Jesus (SCJ) have understood the word. We are no longer spiritually hungry, but the members of the world’s churches do not understand and are spiritually starved (Am 8:11; Mt 24:7). No matter who you are, no one can attain salvation without being born again through the revealed word of SCJ. Believers who think they have it all without understanding the word will face their doom just like the people living in the times of Noah and Lot (Mt 24:37-39; Lk 17:26-30).
Those who cross over from death to life will attain salvation (Mt 24:15-16; Rv 17:14; Rv 18:4).
Those who ignore these words saying, “I am orthodox. I am saved and have received the Holy Spirit,” will not be saved. We at SCJ are praying their salvation.

Shinhconij - The causes of religious persecution
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
The causes of religious persecution
True religion was created by the one and only God. There are two types of spirits (gods) in the world: holy spirits and evil spirits. Both kinds of spirits enter people and work through them. When different types of spirits enter two groups of people, the groups fight against each other (Jn 8). How can we distinguish people whom holy spirits have entered and people whom evil spirits have entered? This is a problem we must solve.
The Bible, which was authored by God, is a book that recounts the activities of people through whom the spirit of God was working and others through whom evil spirits belonging to the devil were working. People who know the Bible can use it to discern the spirits dwelling in each group of people (1 Jn 4:1-6). Believers must be know and believe the Bible. People who do not know and believe the Bible cannot be considered true believers.
Pastors throughout the Old and New Testaments can be divided into three categories: pastors of prophecy, general pastors, and promised pastors. Pastors of prophecy were selected by God from among the chosen people. God revealed future events to his people through pastors of prophecy like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. General pastors include the rulers of God’s chosen people—the elders and priests. Promised pastors are those whom God promised in advance through the pastors of prophecy. John the Baptist (the messenger who prepared the way) and Jesus (the savior) were promised pastors (Is 7:14; Mal 3:1; Mt 1:18-23; Mt 17:10-13). In both the times of the Old and New Testaments, it was never the gentiles or non-believers who were responsible for the killing of the pastors of prophecy and the promised pastors sent by God to his chosen people. In fact, the rulers of the chosen people—their elders and priests—were the ones responsible for killing God’s true pastors (Mt 27).
Why did the religious leaders kill God’s messengers?
God sent his promised pastor (messenger) when his chosen people had grown corrupt. God’s messenger pointed out the sins of that generation’s corrupt pastors and urged them to repent. He also taught the believers of that generation things their own corrupt pastors did not understand and did things their pastors could not do.
The corrupt pastors at the time of the first coming belonged to the earth. Jesus and his followers, however, belonged to heaven. This is why the Jews hated and persecuted Jesus and his followers (Jn 15:18-21). Ultimately, although Jesus was supposed to receive God’s inheritance (Lk 20:9-16), the corrupt leaders of the time even killed him because they did not want to surrender their churches and congregation members.
Although many people at the time wanted to follow Jesus, their pastors prevented them from doing so (Mt 23:13-15). This proves how corrupt they really were. To avoid any loss of power, the Sanhedrin put Jesus to death by having him crucified (Mt 26:57-68; Mt 27). Regardless of whether you look at the time of the Old Testament or the New Testament, corrupt believers belonging to the world have abused their ecclesiastical authority to persecute and murder the true pastors sent by God (Acts 7:52; Jn 15:18-21)
The one who overcomes (the promised pastor) in Shinchonji Church of Jesus does not stand on his own. God has chosen and appointed him. He has become New Spiritual Israel by fighting against and overcoming the enemies promised in the Bible. According to biblical prophecies, the one who overcomes has established the twelve tribes of God’s kingdom and priests, and those twelve tribes have been bearing twelve kinds of fruit through the work of the harvest (Rv 12; Rv 7; Rv 14; Rv 22:1-2).
The twelve tribes of Shinchonji Church of Jesus are God’s creation. Just like what happened in the time of the first coming, God will not sit idly by and watch as the pastors of all the world’s denominations gather and plot to destroy his precious creation. The pastors of world world must repent and learn the truth. They must come to the path where everyone can live together in harmony.
We, the people of Shinchonji, have mastered the Bible. No one else has ever been able to do this (1 Cor 2:10). We have been sealed by the revealed word (Rv 7). God’s kingdom and priests are promised for us (Rv 1:5-6; Rv 5:9-10). We have fulfilled and are fulfilling the prophecies of the Bible without adding to or subtracting from them (Rv 21:6; Rv 22:18-19).
True Christians must love Christianity and keep Jesus’ commands (Jn 14:23; Rv 1:3).

The lies of MBC PD Note's distorted broadcast
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
The lies of MBC PD Note's distorted broadcast
To all the members of Shinchonji Church of Jesus around the world and to all the souls of the martyrs! Let us appeal to God regarding the false charges leveled against us. MBC PD Note broadcast lies about Shinchonji Church of Jesus.
MBC PD Note broadcast their false program twice: once on May 8, 2007 and again on December 25, 2007. Their show, which was entitled "Shinchonji's suspicious mysteries," concluded that Shinchonji is a cult. They attempted to sabotage Shinchonji, which is God's kingdom of righteousness, by broadcasting false information.
When MBC PD Note interviewed us, we recorded the interviews and kept our own copies. MBC’s broadcast, however, presented a distorted version of reality. In addition to MBC, there are also conversion education pastors blaming us for causing people to run away from their families. They claim that we have confined and assaulted people. The truth is, however, that those were the actions of the conversion educators themselves. We, in Shinchonji, send official statements to our members once or twice per year discouraging them from running away from their families, getting divorced, dropping out of school, or quitting their jobs. We have obeyed these commands ourselves and are speaking out regarding absolute righteousness and fairness.
To reveal how MBC PD Note has distorted the truth, we are even willing to go around and show every Korean household the true footage we took at the same time. We will show both the true and false versions of the footage side by side so people can compare them. Even if the whole world continues to believe the lies of MBC PD Note, lies are still lies. Lies are not truth, and the PD Note programs are lies.
The following is an account of how the current situation began. One former member of Shinchonji was expelled from among us after he betrayed us and committed some serious sins. After leaving Shinchonji, that person united with the conversion education pastors. Together they began to give MBC false information in an effort to tear Shinchonji apart and convert our congregation members to their own churches. Without verifying the authenticity of that information, MBC PD Note immediately broadcast it to the entire nation.
As soon as the false programs were aired, several Christian and social media organizations scrambled to interview people from Shinchonji to verify the details of MBC’s report. Ultimately, those media organizations reported several times that the MBC PD Note broadcast was full of lies. Even the police and prosecutors investigated Shinchonji and never found anything suspicious. In spite of these reports, none of the people responsible for MBC PD Note nor those who gave false information have repented. They continue to resist correcting their programs on air. Although Shinchonji has strength, we would like to resolve this problem justly through the courts, rather than resolving it by force.
One of the most controversial scenes in the MBC PD Note broadcast showed a trip by some Shinchonji members to a park. Shinchonji began at the current location of Seoul Grand Park in Gwacheon, South Korea. The Shinchonji Cultural Department went to that park to record some footage of the cherry blossoms. Should that be a problem? Is it a sin? Why would the park be there if visiting it were a sin? Are all the people who visit the park lambasted for their crimes? In fact, the person who suggested that we record some footage of the cherry blossoms was one of the betrayers who fed false information to MBC. She was very busy encouraging her fellow office workers to pose for the sake of the video footage. No one really thought anything of her going to the park and following her suggestions.
Although the Republic of Korea guarantees the freedom of religion, MBC PD Note broadcast their show about us as if we are urging people to run away from their families. Their report, however, was decidedly false. A few of the many Shinchonji congregation members have been assaulted and confined by their own parents because of their parents' misunderstandings regarding Shinchonji. Some of these people have indeed left their homes simply because they could no longer bear being assaulted by their own families. If it was wrong for them to leave their homes, should we consider all those who have ever left their homes to enter a monastery or a nunnery as runaways? What about people who left their homes to enter a Buddhist temple to follow Siddhartha? Did they runaway from their homes too? Please answer us, judges and prosecutors! Why do you call this sort of behavior "running away" only when it involves the members of Shinchonji?
If the truth be told, the conversion education pastors provoked the abusive behavior from the parents of Shinchonji's young adults that forced them to leave home. Those pastors misled the parents into thinking that their children were being held prisoner in hell. This is how conversion pastors have incited parents to force their own children into conversion education. The pastors have induced parents to confine their children at home, to assault them, to force their children to drop out of school, and to quit their jobs. They even encourage parents to send their children to mental institutes if the children refuse to give up their faith and obey. This is why some young adults were forced to run away from their homes. The conversion education pastors are responsible for sabotaging families and for creating hostility between children and their parents.
To the judges overseeing this case! To whom else should we appeal these false charges against us if you do not see this case clearly and exonerate us? We are confident in your ability to reveal the truth. We will not be able to thank you enough if your decision leads to the correction of these lies on the air. We are so angry and frustrated by these lies that we are about to explode. It is as if some thieves who stole something from a house have somehow placed the blame on the owner of the house himself, saying the owner stole it.
One man left a place of abomination and falsehood to join Shinchonji. Later, however, he was expelled from Shinchonji because he sinned out of his own greed and lust for power. Now, he has united with the conversion education pastors in an effort to destroy Shinchonji, which is practicing righteousness and fairness according to God's will. There is no doubt that his sins will prove to be a heavy burden on him. This person, along with the conversion education pastors, fed false information to MBC’s PD Note in an attempt to convert Shinchonji members to their own churches. The pastors who are responsible for MBC's false broadcast have sinned, and these sins will be a heavy burden for them. Furthermore, those who believed the false reports, united with the conversion educators, and decided to broadcast lies have also sinned. These sins will not be forgotten.
Another controversial scene from the broadcast surrounds a New Year’s meeting where PD Note claimed that the chairman of Shinchonji was selling people tickets to eternal life. In reality, the chairman of Shinchonji gave some young adults from the church the traditional Korean New Year's gift of money and a small notebook while exchanging New Year's greetings. He also wrote down a few short comments with Bible verses inside the notebooks. Some of these well-wishes included the word "eternal life." Can this be considered selling tickets to eternal life? If wishing for someone to receive eternal life is wrong, then all the Bibles in the world must be destroyed and people must be punished for reading them. What does this have to do with freedom of religion? This is religious persecution. Judges and prosecutors should not violate the law, and we believe firmly that you will bring us justice.

Shinchonji - Jesus’ new command: Love (Jn 13:34)
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Jesus’ new command: Love (Jn 13:34)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son to save it; Jesus the son gave up his life out of love for his friends (Mt 20:23; Jn 3:16; Jn 10:11; Jn 15:13-14). Apostle Paul said that of faith, hope, and love, love is the greatest (1 Cor 13:13). According to the Bible, a man who says he loves God but hates one of the brothers in faith is a liar (1 Jn 4:20). Jesus said that liars belong to the devil (Jn 8:44).
God is love, light, life, and the word (Jn 1:1-4), and because he was born as God’s son, Jesus is also love, light, life, and the word (Jn 1:9; Jn 5:26; Jn 13:34; 1 Jn 1:1-2). If we, too, are born of God’s seed (Lk 8:11; Jas 1:18; 1 Pt 1:23), we become love, light, life, and the word. A lack of love, light, life, and the word is evidence that a person has not been born of God’s seed.
Korean Christianity is full of lies. Its pastors and people falsely claim that their traditions are the only orthodoxy. They claim to have received salvation and the holy spirit, but they have not. God and Jesus have given us a new command to love and forgive others, but these things are not present in Korean Christianity. Instead, they are busy posting hateful comments that curse, lie, and persecute others on the Internet. Can anyone find love, forgiveness, and God’s word anywhere among them? The state of Korean Christianity is like the state of the city of Sodom and like the state of people in the time of Noah. Can’t ecclesiastical authority be purchased with money? Aren’t lies reigning as king? The minds and hearts of the people of Christianity have been made formless and dark by the flood of commentaries and the teachings of men. The world of Christianity has been transformed into the deepest night where truth and the light of God’s word do not exist. They love their own members and pay no attention to their sins, but they treat people who do not belong to them as sinners no matter how righteous they might be.
Today is the time of the second coming, and heaven has come near. The time has come to repent by throwing away the lies and sins. It is time for the pastors and people of Christianity to pray privately in true repentance. It is time for everyone to be born again by the word and by love. People must stop the lies, the persecution, and the cursing. No one should use their ecclesiastical authority to label others as heretics. Should enemies creating more enemies? If we bite and fight each other, we will all be destroyed (Gal 5:15). Today, not only Korean Christianity, but all Christians in the world must stand according to the commands of Jesus who loves us. Let us love, forgive, and bless one another. Let us enter the path of the word, unite, and live in harmony together forever.

Shinchonji - The proof for believing in God
– The New Heaven and New Earth
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
The proof for believing in God
God is the one and only God (Jn 17:3). He is the creator of heaven and earth and the source of all blessings (Gn 1:1; Rom 1:20). What is the evidence for believing in God?
God is the founder of religion and the author of the scriptures (i.e. the Bible). Christians must carry out their lives of faith based on the scriptures. Living people have neither been to heaven, nor have they seen God. We believe in both heaven and God, however, because of the scriptures and because of the spiritual path that has been passed down to us.
What acts as evidence to prove a person believes in God? What do we need for God to acknowledge our faith?
Since we cannot see him, believing in God’s word is the same as believing in God (Rom 10:17; Heb 11:1). Faith in God’s word, therefore, provides evidence that a person believes in God. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was fully God.” Wherever the word is, there is God; wherever God is, there is the word. Thus, believing in God’s word is the same as believing in God.
Since the word is life and light, people with the word become light and possess life (Jn 1:1-4, Jn 8:12). The word is also symbolized by the seed of God. Hence, a person born of God’s seed is God’s son (Mt 13:37-38; Jas 1:18; 1 Jn 3:9) and can be created in God’s image and likeness. People without the word, however, do not have God, light, or life. Without being born of God’s seed, they cannot be created into God’s image or likeness.
Jesus was the son of God and he was the true light and life. He was also the word created in God’s image and likeness (1 Jn 1:1-3) because he was born of God’s seed. If we, like Jesus, also receive and are born of God’s seed, we will become like Jesus. This is, in fact, God’s will.
The type of faith God acknowledges is faith in the words God promised. When the fulfillment appears according to the words of promise, the faith of people who believe in that fulfillment proves that they really believe in God.
Just because a person claims to believe in God with his lips, attends church, makes monetary offerings, does volunteer service, and serves his pastor does not mean that he is acknowledged by God as a true believer. People who are zealous without knowing God’s will or the true meaning of righteousness are simply trying to lift themselves up above others (Rom 10:2-3). More than offering money or giving worship, God wants us to truly know him (Hos 6:6). We prove we believe in God by knowing God and by believing in and obeying his promises (Rv 1:2-3).
If we were to give a group of Christians 100 or even 1,000 questions from the New Testament, how many people could answer just one question properly? It wouldn’t surprise me if none of them could answer those questions properly. If this is the case, is it right for these people to claim that they are orthodox or that they have already received salvation and the holy spirit? The Bible says, “Now this is eternal life—that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent,” (Jn 17:3). The Bible also says, “For the spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God,” (1 Cor 2:10).
We must be honest before others and even more honest before God. Our yes should be yes and our no should be no. We should claim to know only what we really know and admit that we do not know what we do not know. It is only when we earnestly pray to God—when seek to know him and his will—that God will reveal himself to us.
Today is the same as the times of Noah and of Jesus’ first coming (Mt 24:37-39; Rv 11:8). The kingdom of heaven is indeed near. Everyone must repent. The words of the promises in the New Testament are being fulfilled. Believing in the words of the promises is believing in Jesus. No one can attain salvation unless they know the words of the promises and their physical fulfillment.
All the wealth, fame, and power in the world are nothing but empty dreams. They are not eternal life. We will become believers whom the Lord acknowledges when we seek eternal life and when we understand and obey the Lord’s will.

Shinchonji - Faith
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Faith
Those who believe in Jesus believe in God's word. Those who persecute others do so because spirits of persecution have entered them. Those who speak the word of God do so because the spirit of the word—the spirit of God—has entered them (Jn 3:31-34, Jn 14:23-24; 1 Jn 4:1-6).
According to the Bible, it was the pastors and elders who held to their traditions who persecuted the messengers God sent generation after generation (Mt 5:10-12, Mt 23:33-34, Mt 27:1-2; Acts 7:51-54). They did this all while claiming to believe deeply in God and to be orthodox. Those who were persecuted, on the other hand, were actually the messengers sent by God in each generation. Who belongs to God: those who persecute or those who are persecuted? Who goes to heaven and who goes to hell? Just like the times of Noah and Lot, we must be careful to choose the path to salvation instead of persecuting others and being destroyed.
Persecutors always begin to persecute when they realize that someone knows something they do not know. When the persecutors see others who can do things they cannot do, their pride is injured and they grow envious. This is how persecution begins.
You, who persecute will starve, while we, who are persecuted, eat and drink our fill. You people are like the darkest night, while we shine as bright as day. You will be cursed and we will be blessed (Mt 25). The devil and his persecutors will soon be thrown into the abyss and punished for eternity (Rv 20:2-3). Today, we who have received persecution together with Jesus because of the word of God will receive the glory of eternal life and inherit the paradise of the kingdom of heaven (Rv 22:1-5).

Shinchonji - Who married the demons of Babylon in Revelation 18?

This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Who married the demons of Babylon in Revelation 18?
Our main passage for today is Rv 18:23.
The marriage with Babylon’s demons in this passage is a spiritual marriage—a marriage of evil spirits and flesh.
Christians do not realize that the pastors of their churches are the pastors of Babylon, the kingdom of demons (Rv 17:5). Instead, they think that their pastors are God’s pastors and that their churches are God's churches. They join their churches and unite with them because they believe their churches and pastors are orthodox. This includes the people at the tabernacle of heaven mentioned in Rv 13 and everyone who has married the demons of Babylon (Rv 18:23). Revelation 17 says that the kings of the earth (i.e. its pastors) and the inhabitants of the earth (congregation members) are intoxicated with the wine of the adulteries (Rv 17:2). This means that all nations (ships on the sea) have collapsed under the ecclesiastical authority and power of Babylon (Rv 18:2-3), which is the organization of the great prostitute.
Revelation records the events that occur in the time of the second coming of the Lord, which is also the end of the age of Spiritual Israel.
The end of Spiritual Israel occurs in Rv 6. Then, after Rv 6, New Spiritual Israel, which is led by the one who overcomes, is created in Rv 7. The tabernacle of heaven in Rv 13 represents the denomination and people that is destroyed by ecclesiastical authority of Babylon’s pastors (beasts). The people of this tabernacle are destroyed because they receive the mark of the beast and worship him. After this, in Rv 14, the good grain (those who are sealed) are harvested are gathered to create the twelve tribes of New Spiritual Israel.
After all nations marry the demons in Rv 18, the people who are gathered from the north, south, east, and west marry the Lamb at the wedding banquet of God's kingdom (Mt 8:11; Lk 13:28-30).
Believers must discern the time and location of these events. They also must distinguish true and false pastors. Believers must seek the way of life, believe, and obey so they can be saved.
This testimony is true because it is being given by someone who witnessed the events of Revelation’s fulfillment (Rv 1:2; Rv 22:16).

Who are the sea captains, those who travel by ship, the sailors, and those who earn their living from the sea in Rv 18?

This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Who are the sea captains, those who travel by ship, the sailors, and those who earn their living from the sea in Rv 18?
The main reference for today is Rv 18:17-19.
The sea, ships, sea captains, sailors, and passengers in Rv 18:17-19 are all used figuratively. The sea represents the world (Dn 7:2, 17), the ships represent the churches of the world (Gn 6-8; Is 51:5; Rv 8:9), and the sea captains represent the pastors of the world. The sailors are evangelists, the passengers are congregation members, and those who earn their living from the sea are church officials. All of these people have sold the goods of the spiritual nation of Babylon. In other words, they have used the doctrines of Babylon to evangelize others. These goods, which represent the doctrines and teachings of Babylon, will no longer be purchased after God judges Babylon and reveals her goods to be false.
Before this judgment occurs, the people of Babylon failed to realize that their churches and denominations belonged to Babylon, the kingdoms of demons (Rv 18:2-3). They also had no idea that their doctrines were the teachings of the devil. They believed that their teachings were true and orthodox, which is the reason they did “business” with those teachings. Once their doctrines are revealed to be Satan's teachings, however, no one is willing to buy (believe) their doctrines. This is why the people of Babylon weep and mourn. Since these people of Babylon entered the tabernacle of heaven and destroyed its chosen people in Rv 13, wouldn’t a person from the tabernacle of Rv 13 know who they are? Surely he would have seen them. Surely those who were victorious over the beast, his image, and the number of his name from Rv 13—the victors who escaped the tabernacle according to Rv 15—can testify about the events that took place in that tabernacle because they witnessed them. Surely they know very well who the destroyers really are.
In summary, the people of the spiritual nation of Babylon (the kingdom of demons) used the Babylonian doctrines and teachings to grow rich. They achieved this via the might of Babylon’s excessive luxuries (its ecclesiastical authority). Babylon’s churches are called ships and its leaders (kings or pastors) are called captains. Babylon’s sailors represent her evangelists. Those who understand this at the time of judgment will cross over from death to life—from Babylon to the place where the Lord truly dwells (Rv 17:14; Rv 18:4; Mt 24:15-16). In doing so, they will attain salvation.
This is the testimony of the one who saw what took place at the location where the physical fulfillment occurred. This is why this testimony is true (Rv 1:2; Rv 22:16).

Shinhonji - Who are the merchants who weep and mourn in Revelation 18?

This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
Who are the merchants who weep and mourn in Revelation 18?
The main reference for today is Rv 18:10-15.
Those who weep and mourn in this passage are the kings and merchants of the earth (Rv 18:9-11).
The kings of the earth are pastors who belong to the spiritual nation of Babylon. The merchants of the earth are evangelists who belong to the pastors of Babylon. The prostitute of Babylon rules over the beast with the seven heads and ten horns (Rv 17:3). The seven heads of this beast represent seven hills, which are also seven kings (Rv 17:7-19). These seven kings are seven pastors in a leadership position over the kings of the earth. The peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages in Rv 17:15 encompass all the pastors and congregation members of Babylon. In other words, they are like the scribes and Pharisees who took over Jerusalem and whom Jesus called serpents in the time of his first coming (Mt 23). They are the pastors and congregation members that belong to the denominations of the spiritual nation of Babylon--the kingdom that has destroyed the tabernacle of heaven according to Rv 13 with its ecclesiastical authority today at the time of Revelation's fulfillment.
The merchants in this passage are also spiritual. They buy and sell spiritual goods (Mt 13:34-36). The belong to the great prostitute of Babylon, who owns all nations, and they sell Babylonian goods. They sell Babylon's maddening wine of adultery (i.e. Satan's doctrines and church laws) and extend their influence with the might of her luxuries (Rv 18:3, Darby).
In Mt 25, Jesus spoke in parables about the future. When a man (Lord) went on a journey, he called his servants and entrusted a few talents of gold to them. After a long time the master of those servants returned (second coming) and settled accounts with them. He rewarded or punished his servants according to what their deeds deserved.
In Mt 13, Jesus talked about a merchant looking for fine pearls. When this merchant found a pearl of great value, he went away and sold everything he had so he could buy it. These gold and pearls are not literally gold and pearls. They should be figuratively understood. They actually refer to the priceless word that endures eternal life (Pr 2:1-5; Ps 12:6; Mt 7:6; Rv 3:18). The buying and selling of these words symbolizes the process of evangelism.
The merchants in our main passage do business (i.e. preached the word) with the Babylonian doctrines of Satan. Thus, these merchants are the evangelists of Babylon and their goods are the Babylonian doctrines.
These doctrines come from the wild wine, and they are the venom of serpents and the deadly poison of cobras (Dt 32:31-33). The Bible promises three entities who must appear in the end times: the betrayers (Rv 1:19-20), the destroyers (Rv 17:3-7), and the savior (Rv 10:7; Rv 12:5; Rv 21:7). These goods are the goods (doctrines) of the destroyers.
This testimony is true because it is being spoken by the one who has seen and heard the fulfillment (Rv 1:2; Rv 22:16).

What is the wealth of Babylon that made her people rich?
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
What is the wealth of Babylon that made her people rich?
Our main reference today is Rv 18:2-3.
The wealth that made Babylon's people rich is mentioned in Rv 18:12-13. This wealth symbolizes Babylon's organization and doctrines. The kingdom of Babylon and all its goods are not literal; they are figurative. Anyone who interprets them literally belongs to the earth and speaks from the viewpoint of the earth. Those who belong to heaven, however, speak from the viewpoint of heaven.
The one who comes from above is superior to all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from heaven is superior to all. He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. The one who has accepted his testimony has confirm!ed clearly that God is truthful. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for he does not give the spirit sparingly. (Jn 3:31-34)
Babylon is the kingdom of demons that destroyed God's chosen people of Jerusalem in the time of the Old Testament. This nation is used figuratively in Rv 18:2 to prophesy about the future. Babylon refers to the prostitute (i.e. the mother of all the detestable things of the earth) and her organization. According to Rv 17, this prostitute and her organization have been reigning over the kings (pastors) of the earth. This prostitute should not be understood literally either. As a figurative woman, the prostitute symbolizes a pastor who, instead of marrying and belonging to Jesus, marries and belongs to the devil. She has given birth to Satan’s children by receiving his seed (word).
The wine of adultery in Rv 18:3 represents the doctrines and biblical commentaries this prostitute received from the devil. This wine of adultery caused all nations—including the congregation members of God's kingdom—to collapse. It through this wine of adultery that the kings (pastors) of all nations became possessions of the prostitute and committed spiritual adultery with Satan, their groom. Furthermore, it is through the authority of Babylon's excessive luxuries (her ecclesiastical authority) that the spiritual merchants have grown rich by doing business with the earth. Plainly speaking, these merchants represent evangelists, and the earth refers to the congregation members of Babylon, who have returned to being mere flesh.
Let us understand more about the prostitute's excessive luxuries.
Of course, her excessive luxuries should be understood figuratively. In Rv 17:14, the prostitute’s spiritual clothes are a means of expressing her wealth and authority. She is dressed in purple and scarlet and was glittering with gold, precious stones, and pearls. These spiritual clothes represent all the doctrines she has collected and all the degrees and certificates her people have received by formally studying theology in Babylon. They have used their studies to amass ecclesiastical authority. What, then, does it mean for the merchants of the earth to grow rich from Babylon’s excessive luxuries? This means they have become rich while evangelizing others with the authority they obtained from Babylon and by its doctrines (spiritual goods).
Today is the time for Revelation to be fulfilled and for Spiritual Israel to come to an end. Now, in the end times for Spiritual Israel, Jesus has come as a spirit and is carrying out the work of redeeming his people from Babylon. Just as both Rv 17:14 and Rv 18:4 explain, Jesus is calling out to his people who are captured in Babylon, "Come out of her my people!" The time has now come for Jesus to deliver his people from Babylon.
Since this is the testimony from the witness who has seen and heard the physical fulfillment, this testimony is the truth. Jesus promised that the time of his second coming would be like the times of Noah and Lot (Lk 17:26-33), and that anyone who sees the abomination that causes desolation standing in the holy place must flee to Mt. Zion (Mt 24:15-21). People who believe in and strive to keep these promises of Jesus will also believe and act according to the Bible and its physical fulfillment

Shinchonji - What is the maddening wine of adultery and wrath that has made all nations fall?
This site and all of its content has been written according to the Bible. Our purpose is to instruct all Christians in a deeper knowledge of God’s word and to lead them to a deeper faith.
What is the maddening wine of adultery and wrath that has made all nations fall?
The main reference for today is Rv 18:3.
The fallen nations represent the world’s churches, and the wine of adultery represents the doctrines of Satan. The wrath[1] refers to God’s anger. The wine is called the maddening wine and the wine of wrath to reveal that God is angry because Satan’s doctrines have caused all nations to fall.
Wine comes from grapes, and grapes come from vines. God has his vine and Satan has his vine (Is 5:1-4). Jesus even called himself the true vine (Jn 15:1-5). He spoke about old wine and old wineskins as well as new wine and new wineskins (Lk 5:37-39). The old wine Jesus spoke about referred to the law, and the old wineskins were the previous generation’s pastors. The new wine, on the other hand, referred to the revealed word, and the new wineskins were Jesus and his disciples (Mt 9:10-17). Satan's vine, however, is the vine of Sodom, and its wine, which is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras, refers to Satan's doctrines (Dt 32:31-33).
Again, the wine refers variously to the law, the revealed word, and Satan's doctrines. The Law is the old wine, the revealed word is the true wine, and the bad wine represents Satan's doctrines. Like Adam and Eve, God’s pastors and people betray God, who was their groom, and associate instead with Satan. The doctrines they receive from Satan and convey to others are called the wine of adultery.
When the Bible mentions how all nations are destroyed by the wine of adultery, it is not referring to the end of the world. It is not even referring to the end of the worlds of Buddhism or Judaism. In fact, it is referring to the end of the Christian world. Everyone, including the kings of the earth (religious leaders), the people of the earth, the merchants (evangelists), ship captains (pastors of churches), sailors, and passengers have fallen because of the wine of adultery and the ecclesiastical authority of Babylon (Rv 18). This is about the end of the Christian world. There is one promised pastor whom the heavens have chosen. He saves people by feeding them the food of eternal life. How can the people of the world know this?
We, in Shinchonji Church of Jesus, have seen the physical fulfillment of the prophecies we have been discussing. We are testifying about that fulfillment, and our testimony is true. There is salvation for those who understand and believe.
[1] The King James version calls the same wine “the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

Shinchonji - Religion, pastors, and faith
Among the prophets, the Buddha and Confucius lived 2,500 and 2,600 years ago, respectively. As for the prophets of Christianity—men like Isaiah and Jeremiah—they lived roughly 2,700 years ago. If the history of Christianity is considered to have begun with Jesus, it goes back 2,000 years. If the origin of Jesus is considered, however, its history stretches back 6,000 years. Prophets like Isaiah, Buddha, Confucius, and others were mere men—men with original, hereditary, and personal sins. Jesus, however, was the son of God. He was born from the seed of the creator God. He was entirely without sin (Mt 1:18-23, Mt 3:16-17). God descended on Jesus, who was without sin, and united with him (Jn 1:32-34, Jn 10:30). God did not come down to unite with prophets like Isaiah, Buddha, and Confucius because they still had sin. Instead, God allowed them to see him or hear his voice.
The holy God dwelled with Adam while Adam was without sin (Gn 2). After Adam committed sin, however, God was forced to leave (Gn 3, Gn 6). This departure was not what God wanted. In fact, both God and Jesus long to descend again and unite with humanity (Rv 21:2-3). To make this happen, Jesus, who was without sin, bore the cross to atone for our sins (Is 53; Jn 1:29; Jn 19). None of the prophets, including Buddha, Confucius, Isaiah, and others, could resolve their own sins. Neither did they have the ability or authority to resolve the problem of sin for us.
Humanity has been dying because of sin and because they have lost God, who is life itself. People do not need authority or wealth; people need God and God alone. What good are all the authority and wealth in the world when you die? God and Jesus are all we need. This is why God has been working to redeem people from their sins with the blood of Jesus, the righteous one. God has also been working to seize the devil and lock him up in the Abyss, because the devil is the one causing people to sin.
The Old Testament prophets (e.g. Moses, Isaiah, etc.), Buddha, and even Confucius prophesied in their scriptures about a coming savior, who turned out to be Jesus. Did people believe in Jesus when he came into the world? No. They believed in Moses, Buddha, and Confucius, but they failed to believe in their words, which pointed to Jesus as the savior. Although people initially believed in the words of their teachers, but failed to believe in God spoke through them concerning the promised pastor. Can people who only believe in Moses, Isaiah, Confucius, and Buddha receive salvation if they refuse to believe in the physical fulfillment of the words prophesied and proclaimed by Moses, Isaiah, Confucius, and Buddha? Weren’t they speaking on behalf of God about a coming savior that God would send to save us from sin?
Jesus came into the world according to the prophecies spoken by these prophets (Moses, Isaiah, Confucius, Buddha, etc.). After coming and fulfilling the Old Testament prophecies (Jn 19:30), Jesus himself prophesied in the New Testament about future events. These prophecies, too, point to one pastor who will come in Jesus’ name (Mt 23:39; Jn 14).
At the time of the first coming, God, heaven, and the angels came down to Jesus (Mt 3:16-17; Mt 4:17). Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father except through me," (Jn 14:6). Heaven, God, and Jesus cannot come to anyone who claims to believe in Jesus and yet refuses to believe in the words of God Jesus spoke—the promises regarding the promised pastor. In fact, heaven, God, and Jesus have already come down to the one who overcomes, the pastor promised in the New Testament (Rv 3:12).
Today, those who claim to believe in Jesus and refuse go to the pastor promised by Jesus are no different from those who believed in Moses, Isaiah, Confucius, Buddha, and yet refused to believe in their prophecies, which pointed to Jesus as our savior. Furthermore, since the promised pastor has already come, people who persist in believing only in their own pastor are in the same situation as the people who refused to go to Noah when Adam's generation came to an end. They are in the same situation as those who refused to follow Moses when Noah's generation came to an end. This is also in the same situation as the people who believed only in Moses and who refused to follow Jesus when Moses' generation came to an end.
If we truly believe in Jesus, we must believe in his promises. We can only acquire salvation by believing and obeying the words of the New Testament, which is the new covenant.
