Testimony of the book of Revelation from Shinchonji
Coming up surprising religious in Korea that is, the temple - the tabanacle of the Testimony has been begun.!
However, other religious are pointed to Shinchonji “heresy” Why are they calling like that?
We have interviewed with people, they say “others go to Shinchonji becoming hooked” or assault and restraint in Shinchonji.
If Shinchonji is other sect, attendees should be decreased, nevertheless many people attend Shinchonji.
Shinchonji has been started the place of Gwachon in Korean 28 years have passed.
▲Photo of guide people who are coming into the assembly
The reasons of why Shinchonji had the assembly(testified the book of Revelation) because they wanted to testify they have only testified word and God and Jesus with Shinchonji.
The assembly held all of the country and Gwangju had held the 30 and 31. May. It held twice each and attended 5500. The topics of the lectures in assembly are ‘the sign of second coming and of the end the age’ and ‘two types of seeds and harvest.’
The assembly of Shinchonji gave people newly hope.
Lecturer Mr. You who preacher “Christianity insisted that about the sign of second coming, with armageddon create new heaven and new earth, and rapture but in the Bible says ‘the end of the world the Satan who deceived all nations was ended, all everything will changed renew and Shinchonji will come finally.
He , in his lecture. said “the Bible says, armageddon is spiritual war between God’s side and Satan’s side.” he said he wanted that many christians come back to the Bible .

Also, “He mentioned that believers can surely realise weither believers stay still in his church or go to the barn and where it is through ‘two seeds and harvest.’
In addition, he said, “Believers should know His promise and if he doesn’t know about it he can’t believe even tough God’s promise is accomplished.” And The end what the Bible says is not same as the end of the earth. It’s end of churches.
They came in with a heavy heart but as a lecturer You. speak, attendees’ face had changed brightly and listened courteously.
This assembly is concentrated by all churches in Korea because of among the disbanding exercise CCK(the christian council of Korea). Shinchonji is pointed as a heresy group by CCK.

Snow, all over Gwang-ju

This morning, more fresh and cool air covered Biennale park in Gwang-ju. It was snowing through all night and now, more than 15 cm of snow is seating on the chair in the park. The sidewalk is hidden under the snow and it looks so cosy and soft that anyone would want to lie on it.
Who recalls trees of bare branches with the coming of winter?
It used to make such a beautiful scene with pine trees full of green. Now, it is even more beautiful with white snow shining on pine trees. No matter how cold the weather is, a man and his dog just can't help coming out to the park to take a walk.

Snow has sat on the lake. Transparent ice has provided the place to sat on. This beautiful view of winter lake makes people's mind calm and relaxed. Cold but warm and empty but full winter of Gwang-ju is very attractive.

Shinchonji, where I found the light and love
December 15, 2010 Reporter- Duna Kim
▲Picture of class of # 93-2, Shinchonji Peter tribe. On Dec 12nd, 1503 people graduates gathered for graduation ceremony at Yumju stadium, Gwangju, S. Korea. (Picture provided by Shinchonji)
In Cheonam Province, 2600 people registered in 2010 … 250 people graduate per a month
GwangJu Handicapped Association expressed gratitude toward members of Shinchonji who volunteered it for 10 years.
[Chonji-Ilbo, Reporter Duna Kim] “I was able to feel the heaven when I came to Shinchonji”
On December 12nd, in front of the main door of Yumju indoor stadium, a vast placard written as above was displayed. Around the Yumju Stadium, there were multitudes of people holding flowers on their hand and at the left side of the entrance, people wearing indigo costumes with mortarboards were standing in a well organized way.
The number of these people was 1503. This large scale event was a graduation ceremony of Shinchonji Temple of the Tebernacle of the Testimony(Shinchonji).
• The reason people go to Shinchonji
On this day, people from Shinchonji Peter tribe (GwangJu, Sunchon, Mokpo, and Yosu) and graduates filled the Yumju indoor stadium completely, which has 9100 total seats. Although Shinchonji is being criticized by traditional churches as a heresy group, it is now having escalating number of people registered as member.
According to the data provided by Shinchonji Peter tribe, there were 1101 graduates on last February. And now, in 10 months, 1503 more people registered as members of Shinchonji.
Especially Mr.S, who made the main speech representing the graduate group, was the one who harshly criticized Shinchonji. During his speech, he said, “according to pastors from traditional churches, I heard that Shinchonji is a notorious heresy group, which illegally imprisons people and commits violence. However, my experience in Shinchonji was love itself.”, “I, myself is an advocate of seeing what Shinchonji did. I found out that nobody can prevent stopping people coming to Shinchonji.”
Mr.Kim(51), a graduate of Shinchonji, said that he was totally satisfied with what Shinchonji taught to him, different from what traditional churches teach; teaching the Bible in vague and unclear ways. He also said, “At Shinchonji, I was able to learn the Bible in an organized way by studying and now I understand metaphors and parables in the Bible clearly.”

*Everything is different in Shinchonji
Mr.Bae, an official of Gwangju Handicapped Association, said that although he has been in other events lead by different churches, he never experienced large scale event as this one. He said, “Although people say Shinchonji is a heresy group that illegally imprisons people and commits violence, what I experience from them is totally opposite.
Mr.Bae said, “I was very impressed with the attitudes of graduates sitting in the stadium for several hours in an organized way, without going to bathroom.”, “I think this event can be a good model for others.”
Four or five times every year, about 50 members of Shinchonji Gwangju church volunteer for Handicapped Association, which has been 10 years from now. Mr. Bae remarked that “although volunteers are different for each time, the attitude of them never changes. I sincerely appreciate the members of Shinchonji, who have been serving us for 10 years.”
• The history of Shinchonji is a promise of God
An official from the theology department of Shinchonji Peter tribe explained that, to take official 6 month course, one should acknowledge the word of God first by studying the Bible within a small group.
Furthermore, he also emphasized that graduation is not the end. To be officially registered as a member of Shinchonji, one should learn the culture of Shinchonji first.
Mr.Jaesub Ji, who is the leader of Shinchonji Peter Tribe, said “Since we, Shinchonji, are performing our duties according to the Bible and what God said, one should believe this.” He also mentioned that “It is not human’s work. It is God’s work. The ones who really need to know about this are pastors. Like the scripture of Acts 5:38~39, people will only find themselves fighting against God if they try to stop us.”

Also it was a time to making their position for those who suspect on their investigation on Shinchonji on October 18th.

"Being a priest, I couldn't give any clear answers to any of my saints, even to myself, and I always felt bad about it. It was my burden in my heart." The priest Jung Gum-sub, who gave speech on testimony, said "I went through many books to find answers for the questions but each annotation has different opinions and none of them I could give credit."
They forced saints to not go to Shinchonji by showing them PD Note, a program from MBC, and stopped those who learn the Bible to not come to their church officially.
The priest Jung also said, "Admit this for yourself. Check on my reports to see if it is true or not. As a priest, I had to inform other priests about this. I really hope all of you make right judgments."
Also, Park, Sang-ik, the representative of Victims of Forced Conversion Association, declared strongly that the government has disregarded the signature campaign against the forced conversion from 13,000 people since July, 2008 and said that where should they go to talk about their situation. JunShinYeon, Announcement of press conference after investigating Shinchonji for three years

On that day, they announced the result of investigating Shinchonji which was treated to heresy by Protestant thesedays in this press of conference after inquiring Shinchonji for three years.
A priest, JaeYeong Jung(Korean Presbyterian Church of Jesus, the Reformation Praise Party) presiding on that day, about 20 ministers attended this press conference and it started announcing declaration of conscience by Kim, JangHwan priest, a chairman of JunShinYeon.
Through the declaration of conscience, the priest Kim said, "The purpose of JunShinYeon grasps the reason why many christian members go to the Shinchonji church called heresy, figures out the fact that Shinchonji insisted to manage their finance clearly rather than common other churches, and finds the prove related to Shinchonji church that Presbyterian church tells the problems toward Shinchonji.
Continuously, the priest Kim said, "I infiltrated to Shinchonji to learn God's words taught by Shinchonji, and experienced all route which all Shinchonji members take as a course and the life of Shinchonji church hiding I am a minister".

In addition, priest Kim said, "As the result of that I went to the Shinchonji church, studied the bible there, and figured out the truth of Shinchonji, I knew that Shinchonji was teaching Revelation based on who, when, where, what, how, and why principle, and all events of Shinchonji are based on the bible."
Priest Kim addressed shocking announcement, "The ministers who block to go to the Shinchonji church break the commandments of Jesus that 'Love your neighbor as yourself, forgive each other and bless.', and they block members of church to go the Shinchonji because of not having love, a commandment of God, and greedy toward the members' money in their pocket.
Also, he said, "Not only is Shinchonji judged as heresy under the name of religious conversion education, but also violation of human right, imprisonment, assault, and even murder occur because of the reason why each doctrine of the Unification Church, Jehovah´s Witnesses, The Church of God, and Shinchonji is different."
On the other hand, JunShinYeon declared that "We have plan for encouraging open-church to judge by the members of church themselves after they listen, not criticizing all religious body so far, and we are going to offer the opportunities to judge what is right and wrong based on the both law of the world and heaven."

Proposal of a biblical debate based solely on the scriptures
November, 2009
To:
Head pastors of churches in Gwacheon, South Korea
From:
Kim Oh Su, Pastor at Shinchonji Church of Jesus
Jeil Shopping, 4th floor
Byeolyang-dong 1-11, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea
Phone: +82-02-502-6424
We are writing to propose a biblical debate. Please kindly accept our suggestion.
Proposal of a biblical debate based solely on the scriptures:
1. Thank you for carrying out the task of spreading God's gospel all around the world. May God’s grace, peace, and blessing be upon you at all times.
2. Shinchonji Church of Jesus—The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony—has been built by God and has appeared in accordance with the Bible. In spite of this, Shinchonji is being baselessly persecuted as a cult by several Christian denominations and churches, including your own.
3. We, in Shinchonji, can only wonder what biblical reason you could possibly give for calling us a cult. This is why we would like to suggest that we hold a public debate about the Bible with the head pastor of your church. If your pastor is able to defeat in the debate Shinchonji using only the words of the Bible, then we will send all of our congregation members to attend your church. If, on the other hand, your church is defeated, you should publicize the results of the debate to the entire world. Then, you and your entire congregation should come to Shinchonji to learn the Bible.
4. Pastors should not make rash judgments about what is and what is not heresy. They must have God and the word (i.e. the Bible). We believe that you will accept our suggestion if you are confident that God is with you and that you understand the word. You will surely create excuses and reject our proposal if you lack such confidence. I, however, believe you are passionate toward God and are eager to guide your congregation members down the right path. This is why I am certain you will agree to participate in this biblical debate.
5. Since you condemn Shinchonji as a cult, won’t this Bible debate provide you with a great opportunity to boost the morale of your congregation members and to improve your pastoral status?
6. Please be sure to make an announcement to your congregation members regarding our proposal. Listen attentively to their opinions. I sincerely hope that event will allow us to understand each other clearly.
7. Regarding the structure of the debate we are proposing, we have included a list of suggestions below. Briefly, each party should answer the 21 suggested questions and preach a 40-minute sermon from Mt 13. The answers to the questions and the sermon must be based solely on the Bible. If you would also like provide suggested questions or sermon topics, we would be happy to arrange a time to discuss the details and agree on a final debate structure. I look forward to receiving your reply within one week. If you fail to respond, we will consider it a forfeit based on your lack of confidence in participating in a biblical debate with Shinchonji Church of Jesus. If that happens, I will not hesitate to inform your congregation members myself about the outcome.
Please find our suggestions for the debate questions below.

Suggested sermon topic: Each debate participant should present a 40-minute sermon on Mt 13.

Since you are so proud in your claims of orthodoxy, I am sure that you will confidently agree to participate in this biblical debate. I am sure you do not want to allow your congregation members to see you fearfully shrinking away from our proposal.
