Shinchonji held the most biggest completion ceremony with 6000 graduates, who completed the whole course of six month-Bible study.
Five tribes of Shinchonji held the completion ceremony all together in Yeoido, Seoul.
There was the most biggest completion ceremony of the Bible course by Shinchonji Church of Jesus-Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. It began at 11am on Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Yeoido, the hub of Seoul, and the approximate 6000 graduates came from Seoul and Gyeonggi Province had completed the whole course of Bible study for six months in Shinchonji Missionary Centers.
Although there were various persecutions and disputes from other Protestant denominations, Shinchonji held the completion ceremony that has never happened in history and it made Christians of all denominations in the world surprised. Furthermore, it was very impressed that the unprecedented completion ceremony was held in spite of many misunderstandings and prejudices.
Shinchonji has managed the Missionary Centers which gives people chances to learn the Bible in free of charge according to the Bible that said give the words of God without money and without cost. The 6000 graduates acknowledged that the Shinchonji has the highest truth only in the world after they completed the six month-Bible study. Moreover, they testified it by themselves as evangelizing more than one person per one graduate.
An opening ceremony was performed with the traditional Korean mask dance on a story of a Korean folk tale, 'Ondal The Fool and Princess Pyonggang' including biblical meanings played by some members of Shinchonji Church of Jesus and some graduates as well as a traditional Korean dance and a modern dance. On this performance, the graduates thanked God and Jesus for receiving the spiritual life.
Shinchonji held the Open Bible Seminar for 12 times all around the nation from the end of the year 2010, and about 120,000 people have attended the seminar so far. Especially, about 8000 people registered the Shinchonji bible academy course after the Open Bible Seminar held in Seoul on September 26~27, 2011, and this seminar became the most searched topic on Korean Web portal sites.
Raised interests toward Shinchonji brought some elders of protestant made an announcement about their lack of knowledge of the Bible and an acknowledgement of the truth in Shinchonji. The elders, who had attended the Open Bible Seminar, hold a press conference on October 31, 2011 and said "I misunderstood Shinchonji. Shinchonji is the truth. They explained the correct meanings of the scriptures, only using the Bible without any thought on the seminar"
